Tulsa in Black & White - Food & Drink

Hello friends!

To continue our series on the simpler things of T-Town, a key part of this community is the food and beverage scene. Tulsa is a developing city, and as it continues to grow, it certainly has not forgotten the culinary arts. So, without further adieu, let's chat about a various group of restaurants and bars that mark Tulsa.

1. The Brook Restaurant & Bar

This hot spot is a Brookside favorite, as well as its sister location on 91st and Memorial. It's an older vibe of a place, but it never lacks in serving the best of bar foods with great customer service. If you are looking for a classic American menu, a welcoming atmosphere for people of all ages, or even just a fun night out with some friends, hop on over to one of Tulsa's pride and joy's. Go grab a burger and a beer and let us know what you think! (Disclaimer: their mac and cheese is to DIE FOR.)

2. Roosevelt's Gastropub

Roosevelt's is a family-owned local gastropub on Cherry Street that is booming with business. If you are looking for a classic spin off of a gourmet menu, this is the place to try. The atmosphere is dim, warm, buzzing, and oh-so inviting. Not only is their food unbeatable, but they also have a stacked beer and wine list for a romantic evening with a significant other, or even a group of friends. During the holidays, this pub is notorious for its Christmas decor and greenery that is hung on every inch of the ceiling and walls. It's a MUST go-see.

3. Foolish Things Bar + Biscuit

This unique pop-up is one of Tulsa's newest additions to the food and beverage industry. They specialize in exactly what their name says: their bar and yes, biscuits. The combo of the century. The menu is full of yummies that you never even knew you needed. The signature menu drinks are various and aim to please anyone who walks through the door, whether they are seeking coffee or bubbly. And guess what? It gets better. This little spot doubles as a FLORAL BAR. That's right, you can go in and order a drink and also a flower arrangement. Keep your eye out for event romantic dinners and floral workshops that you can sign up for! Date night? I think yes.
